The Chancellor has announced the latest Budget and to a degree, as it is now common practice, there are a fair number of tweaks and changes which affect business people. We have thus prepared a brief summary of the spring Budget; some highlights are:

• Good news for commercial property purchasers with the introduction of a “sliced” system
• Due to the changes in the Income Tax threshold half a million people will be taken out of the higher tax band
• Changes in Small Business Rate Relief will see some businesses receive 100% relief permanently
