Customer Service Energy Providers

I read the other day a comment by the Chief Executive of Centrica (British Gas) who brushed off clients’ complaints with “people just fundamentally resent paying for an essential commodity”. It is clearly a giveaway how he and his business views clients. It seems that they have forgotten that when you provide good service at sensible prices and make sure that your clients are happy you don’t have the problem. The focus should be to make sure your clients are happy – “Simples” as our favourite Meerkat would say.

Could you imagine if we at AIMS would have the same approach just because clients have to pay tax and need an accountant to help them through the jungle of tax legislation we would ignore customer care. I shudder to think what would happen to our business but then again we are not working in a public company. All AIMS Accountants know what it means to run their own business!

And I would like to add to your comment the fact that the chief executive of Centrica also tried to pay himself a £10 million bonus recently.
