“Telling the truth may not get you a lot of friends, but it will get you the right friends.” John Lennon
This is not new to any of us and whether it reflects your personal life or in this case your business life, being straight up counts for everything. Without sounding too cryptic this is often a problem for small businesses.
Small business owners have a lot to deal with and while they spend their days concentrating on their business this leaves them with very little time for anything else, so any help they get in-between is often gratefully received – help from the government is especially important. With all the rules and regulations imposed on them a need for simplicity and transparency is needed [this is a general problem and small businesses haven’t been singled out] and will ensure time and money is saved.
It does seem though that the government has seen the light and they’ve realised that they do need small businesses on side and they need to help them through the good and the tough times. They’ve made funding easier to obtain, certain tax cuts have been introduced and they’re even getting help with their utilities.
So as things are looking up for small businesses it looks like the government recognise that having them on their side is crucial to help grow their economy and if they become friends in the process then the road ahead won’t be so bumpy.
If you like the way we think – you will like the way we work.
