I have very specific use for two highly trained certified public accountants. Elvis Presley

I’ve always said that an accountant is one of the most important assets for any business – but what happens when they turn out to be a bit of a ‘bad apple’? And how do you choose the right accountant?

Accountants get a lot of their clients through referrals and although this is an important testament to their work, you still need to know who will be looking after your finances. It’s always a good idea to check their credentials – what is their professional qualification and what professional body are they a member of? Find out if they have a professional indemnity policy in place to give you that vital protection so if anything were to go wrong you are therefore protected.

And make sure you meet your future accountant before you agree to anything because if there’s one thing you do need is trust. Meeting them first is probably the most important thing you should do and there should be no charge for you to have an initial meeting to find out if you can work together.

If you like the way we think – you will like the way we work.
