Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle

So what does this actually mean? We could ask Abraham Lincoln as he spoke these famous words but alas, he is no longer with us. So let me explain instead.

Those who go out and actively seek opportunities are more likely to achieve or get more chances at success than those who simply live their lives day-to-day and may come across something. The ones who go out and hustle usually get the better deals and opportunities – please don’t think of hustle in the negative sense; just think of it as being very active and making money at the same time.

Think about it. Entrepreneurs are probably the biggest hustlers out there because they actively seek opportunities. I would suggest that any small business do the same as opportunities these days rarely come on a plate and we live in a very competitive world – more so than ever due to the recession when businesses had to fight tooth and nail for business. The recession is over now but you still need to grab those opportunities and knock on those doors.

One thing you don’t have to hustle for is a good accountant. AIMS accountants are all professionally qualified and they will work with you side-by-side to ensure all accounting decisions are the right ones. They offer endless financial opportunities and don’t charge by the hour – so no hustling there!

If you like the way we think – you will like the way we work.
