What is the name of your business?

It’s not a business per se.  I’m an author and though I am signed to a major publishing house, I’m categorised as self-employed.  My name is Chris Carter.

How long have you been a self-employed?

Since 2009.

What does your business do?

I’m a crime thriller author.  I write novels.

What are the main challenges your business faces?

I would probably have to say “creativity”.  Every year I have to come up with a brand new story that keeps readers entertained and interested.

Why did you choose an AIMS Accountant?

I was recommended to use AIMS by my Agent’s accountant.

What has your AIMS Accountant brought to your business?

Peace of mind.  I can concentrate on my writing, in the safe knowledge that my accounts are very well taken care of.

Why would you recommend AIMS to other businesses looking for an accountant?

Fantastic service and peace of mind.  It’s a great relief to know that your accounts are in very safe and professional hands.
