Yesterday marked the highlight of the accounting year. It’s the day that tech whizzes, bookkeepers and number-crunchers alike have circled on the calendar and eagerly await. It’s when accountants across the UK wake up with a smile, safe in the knowledge that it was national Accounting Day!

OK, perhaps we may have overstated that a little bit. Accounting Day might not be a big, jubilant celebration of bookkeepers across the country, but it’s still an important time to think about how important accounting is to any business, especially SMEs. When it comes down to it, a business runs on the numbers. You may be a pillar of the community, loved by all, but if you aren’t making ends meet financially then any business is doomed. Accountants take that hassle out – they can handle the nitty-gritty of managing your finances so you can get back to what really matters – running your business.

At AIMS, we have 200 accountants working tirelessly to help SMEs nationwide thrive – they always deserve to be celebrated!
