Just over a year since the first lockdown, we now have a plan for coming out-of-lockdown in sight.

As we know, it hasn’t been easy for the majority of small businesses, and we have found that most of our clients need their accountant more than ever for support.

Over the last 12 months, we have helped our clients to understand what financial support packages are available for their businesses, which suit them best, and how to access them. At the same time, for many there have been changes to what “business as usual” means, with all the changes that come along with that for their financial affairs. We have been there every step of the way and will continue to be. In our view all the accountants supporting small businesses are essential to the recovery of those businesses as we come out of lockdown.

AIMS Accountants are glad to be contributing to the economic development of small businesses and are always looking to improve and adapt to overcome the challenges presented to small businesses. Many small businesses believe their accountant is their most trusted business advisor, even more so at the current climate.

How has your accountant helped you over the past 12 months?
